Nose: floral, hint of strawberry, cedar, sage, old leather, licorice, graphite, Soft, milky, and velvety mouthfeel. Little bit of tannin and fruit left and a beautiful dark chocolate finish. Incredible balance and structure. A little barnyard. This shows beautifully

At the peak of its window now at 12 years. Still seems quite young, while plenty soft enough to enjoy now. Very new world interpretation of Bordeaux blend. the nose is earthy, almost too much ... the flavor is a treat ... very complex and long ... really can't quite figure it all out ... this is after 2 hours open ... waiting another hour for the second glass. Wine Spectator had this wine an <85; i don't see that at all - much better

inky violet and opaque in color (unfined and unfiltered)...earthy black fruits lying on wet slate with faint licorice, tobacco and burnt cedar notes on the nose...new world rich and jammy with ripe black cherry and currants surrounded by spice and rustic young tannins...medium bodied and long finish...mellowed nicely after 3 hour decant...a bit expensive on QPR

This is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Deep ruby in color, it has thick, dark, concentrated legs. Very extracted. The nose is clean and medium plus in intensity. Fresh dark fruit on the nose and on the palate. The acidity and alcohol are medium and are very balanced. The tannins, body, flavor intensity and length are all medium plus. This is drinkeable now but will defiintely benefit from extensive ageing. …
