Way too sweet. Perhaps o was in a better mood last time I drank this. I do not plan to repurchase.

Leaning towards a spatlese, this has a fairly rich palate of pear, apple and the right amount of acidity to fend off its sweeter side. Well done and with a great QPR, this can spend a little more time in the cellar though not sure if it will add any complexity at this point.

For kabinett this is a 9/10. Loved it.

Lovely kabinett. Shrouded in youthful yeastiness and a bit spritzy on the palate. Cool, airy, leafy and herbal on the nose, ripe and juicy on the palate. This comes across slightly soft until the finish, which has plenty of pith and minerals, as well as vivacious acids. Melon, raspberry, peach, sweet citrus, ripe pear, pineapple, honeysuckle, a little mint. Textural and rich on the midpalate, fresh and citrusy through the finish. This stuff is really good.
