This was so good. Double decant back into the bottle an hour before drinking this with medium-rare strips. Nose full of sweet tobacco and cassis. Palette full of sweet black fruit. Tannins largely resolved but slight enough to add to a nice dry fruity finish. Shame it's made on such a small scale I can't find another bottle out there from any vintage!

Wow. Needs an hour decant, but then it's dynamite. Whereas the Mapson Rogue has a lot of St Emilion style elements to it, this definitely has a more new world ripeness than a traditional left bank Bordeaux. But it's delicious, and mouthfeel rich (without being overripe or jammy) and the tannins are sweet and bracing at the same time. I really enjoyed this and will track down more.
