Domaine Ventenac Rosé

If you are looking for an inexpensive patio wine that can be enjoyed by people without discerning taste, this is a great choice. Dry and without much character or finish, it served the purpose as a "let's just pull a bottle for no special reason" wine. It was fresh and I must say given the under $10 price, I liked it. I'll buy some more to keep in the fridge for casual drinking.

Light on the nose, detected some red fruit but with first taste it just exploded with strawberry. Yes, it is a rosé fruit bomb but for the low cost (under $10) it was a decent wine--dry, fruity and pleasant albeit short finish. Would not be embarrassed to serve this to company at all.
