Really fantastic, classic Barolo blowing out of the decanter, so perfumed and sexy with rose petals galore, sweet sour cherry and strawberry, a kiss of oak and polish, great balance, fine tannic grip, should do well for many years to come; delicious.

Clear pale garnet; clean medium nose of dried red cherries /strawberries; wood, leather, dust and balsamic; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium body; pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of cocoa and tar; long finish; drinking well right now with a 2 hour decant but has lots of opportunity to develop; nose is a little shy but otherwise a wonderful wine

Loved this wine - honestly, I popped and poured this and enjoyed every sip. I acknowledge that it kept on improving in the glass as the beautiful fruit emerged. I’ll likely not have the patience to wait for this to improve
