Nicely evolved Semillon. There is good fruit which bodes well for the future. A subtle touch of almond / hazelnut.

Light yellow in colour. A slightly bold nose of citrus and lime. Firm, round with a dry finish. A big food wine without the crisp zing of a normal Hunter semillon. My note today is on the half-bottle from yesterday. My impression yesterday was of a younger, fresher wine but my thinking today could be influenced by the meal and the time delay.
