Nice wine and about time to drink. I.doubt it will improve much from here. The wine speaks more of the place than the variety I think. Good with food.

Still tannic after all these years! Not bad overall, but surprising that after a medium-length decant it still has a sharp edge. A bit disappointing.

Coffee and spice on the nose. Awash with ripe blackberries and some blackcurrant and plums, cloves, bay leaf, subtle coffee cream and tobacco. A plush and silky wine that is full bodied but not overripe. It has a juicy, full-bodied finish with mouthfilling tannins. Excellent value. A good wine for a cold night.
