I opened this wine 2 hours prior to serving. - the nose is a variation of fruit leading an aroma of mahogany. The palate was berries, plum, dark cherry, fig, wood and a touch of spice. A long finish made this a totally enjoyable wine. Served with an oven roasted pork tenderloin.

A long finish made this a totally enjoyable wine while watching football with friends. As an aside football was enjoyable as the Jets and Giants were not playing.

A typical effort from Stewart, which is just awesome. Dark purple and black in the glass, strong smell and taste of primarily black and blue fruit. Nice chocolaty mid-palate and a finish that is reminiscent of the Las Piedras Vineyard - lots of earth, mineral and wet stone. Clone 4, which is the clone from my other LPV favorites!
