Violin Chardonnay Bracken Vineyard Eola - Amity Hills

I liked this better on night 2. It fanned out a bit more on the palate and plumped up adding some weight. Lovely floral nose of white flowers, flint, and stone. More of a golden profile on the palate, bright acidity. Zippy bright finish with some granite. Think this is still pulling together but it quite nice.

With Will A flinty nose with jasmine, citrus more than orchard fruit and a hint of peach. Intense yet filigree fine on th epaulet. Intense yet simultaneously gossamer in texture. Jewel like clarity. Power without weight. Brilliant. 95+

Wine of the tasting, wine of the day, maybe wine of the trip? Holy smokes! Intense, saline, zippy, tense, mineral, chalky, with light toasted-sesame reduction, all atop intense lemon-lime and barely ripe pineapple, passionfruit, and guava fruit.
