Ripe, intense and concentrated nose with rather linear aromas of juicy golden apples, some lactic notes of vanilla yogurt and a hint of chalky minerality. Textbook limestone notes, good perfume, there's some honey there too among all the minerals and green apple. Ready to drink now but could do with another 2-5 years. The difficult vintage is evident, but it's a very good effort nevertheless.

Far from impress for the price. This a very thin chablis.

Average, easy to drink, well round good fruit but also iin a way uninspiring. We too were expectign a bit more given the vineyard. Drink sooner than later.

Expect so much more from this wineyard. A big disappointment when this wine was revealed, after the white blind tasted flight of four white wines from Davenne. Tutti - Frutti Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc on the nose. Oily texture with extremely bitter finish, something found in all four wines tasted from Davenne tonight. I will stay away from this producer.
