Similar to previous tn, think a 2-3 hr decant would be good, need a bit of air to reawaken the fruit. Tannins are persistent, a bit out of balance but was excellent with dinner, chicken saltimbocca.

Over 2d. Lovely CS, balanced, dark fruit leather and hint of pepper. Integrated tannins but a little short on the finish on day 1. d2 fruit more tertiary with the O2, but interestingly the finish lengthened. (Maybe 2-3h decant would be ideal) Very nice drop, back when Rajan had consistent, good grapes. Wines since have been great or lacking IMAO. Drinking really well. 2014 vintage from small producer on Black Sage Rd. 13.5% with long legs and little bricking. Notes of cherry plum rosemary vanilla dark chocolate cigar and gravel on nose. On palate very well balanced fruit and acidity with smooth fine tannins and long finish. On palate cherry plum fig and tertiary notes of rosemary sage dark chocolate and granite. Paired well with grilled lamb loin chops with asparagus salad and fig balsamic honey glazed carrots.

A highly enjoyable, warm and lush full fruit Cabernet Sauvignon. Excellent example of what the Okanagan can produce, drinking super well at this point. Not something that will improve from here, but tannins are soft and lush at this point, and the fruit still showing nicely.

Enjoyed with BBQ'd ribs, this is a fantastic bottle that I discovered last September when visiting the winery with friends. As my friend Peter commented to our wine group, "this is an Okanagan cab that I would really go out of my way to buy."
