An excellent ultra premium example of Napa Valley Cabernet. Luscious texture, high fine-grained tannins, high fresh acidity, with a relatively modest alcohol level of 14.3% ABV. Chock full of ripe black fruit, toasted sandalwood (new french oak), and a savory expression of roasted meat. Long persistent finish and a real joy to drink! Not too bad for the family that put White Zinfandel on the map..
