MSRP is $12-16 This was in the Slow-selling rack at my local for $5 and for me is one of those “lucky dog” moments. A mix of mild lemon and florals but otherwise not a whole lot going on as far as aromatics. Green apple/pear/honeysuckle flavor is what makes the wine a pleasant patio sipper. Some anise as it warms. Light/Medium weight body and a short finish dominated by the pear but not for long. Good starter wine with mild …

No contemporaneous notes. This wine has been consistent over many vintages for many years. Nice bouquet. some mineral, moderate complexity, interesting blend of varietals. Very nice, light to medium bodied wine. Decent concentration. Very good value.

Un classique, beau, bon et pas trop cher. Un brin sweet avec des épices et des pommes. Pas le plus long mais frais et sans accroc.

Medium yellow. Apple and some resiny notes. Lighter than the Ostertag Pinot Blanc, higher acidity, quite a bit of soil. Not much of a finish here and what is there is somewhat harsh.

The color is striking as its straw yellow almost contrasts its flavors. On the palette the wine is all pear and ripe apple, and honeysuckle. The finish includes anise and is quite acidic.

88. Drank with quiche Florentine. Citrus lemon and mineral nose. Continues in the mouth, with some added notes of crisp mineral, almost like mineral oil but in a good way. Paired well. Not a ton of depth, finishes fast. Would keep the pairings on the lighter side.

Passable sylvaner. Much better than the eberle viognier. Ok nose. Acidity softer than I would like, and a little thin, but paired well with turkey.

Prettier version of E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone Blanc. Smooth, fragrant, medium concentrated fruits, nothing is spiky, well balanced. Very food friendly. Nice again.

Blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc. More like Riesling than Gewurztraminer. Fresh than floral. A very balanced, pleasing Gentil. 88~89/100

Clear pale straw. Nose is clean and medium. White blossom, grapefruit, lime, pineapple hints of petrol. Dry with tantalizing medium (+) acidity. Body is light. Flavour is medium (+) and palate has lime zest, green apples, pineapple and a silky texture. Finish is medium (-). Interesting blend with nice mouth feel if only a longer finish. Feels like watching a blockbuster movie and forgetting about the story a week later.

Blend of Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Blanc, and Sylvaner. Medium-high intensity nose offers orange citrus and blossom, along with floral aromas. It's medium-bodied with good acidity supporting the orange, floral, and apple flavours. There's a nice mineral texture and underpinning. Dry. Very good finish length.

Great intro to Alsatian wine. The blend gives it floral and fruit characteristics with a background of stone/minerality. I thought almost like Alsatian wine with American sensibilities (although some may say that is not a good thing). Definitely nice value for price.
