Elegant and racy showing cherry, plum, spice and smoke. Medium to full bodied, good acidity and well integrated fine grained tannins. Well made, good all around at the right price. NI:4, FI:22, FC:8, B:4, L:4

Juicy, crunchy and fresh, but a bit out of joint. Needs more time.

nteresting Blend. Web page says the 2020 is: 32% Cabernet Franc, 24% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Syrah, 7% Grenache. I assume the 19 is similar. The color is deep ruby with a moderate nose of cherries, ripe plums, blackberries, spice and leather. It’s a juicy, mid-weight wine with dark fruit, some spice and very fine tanins. A structure is a step up from Pergolaia. I am curious how this might age.

A youthful expression of Aria, as usual, made from rich but not as extensive as Caiarossa blend of 34% Syrah, 29% CF, 14% Merlot, 13% CS and 10% Alicante. Aged in FR Barriques and tonneaux for 14 months, 15% new, 6 months in concrete. Deep ruby colour. Medium intensity aroma of cherries, plums, blackberries, violets, spices, leather hints. Medium body, fresh and juicy with youthful black fruits in front, spicy hints, strong structure, lively acidity and tightly woven fine tannins.
