Keuka Spring Vineyards Epic Reserve

Drank over two days. Sadly much less interesting than in the tasting room. No herbaceous qualities, very plummy, and somewhat flabby. Drinkable but not a wine of note. "Very good," 86/100.

Finger Lakes Vacation 2017; 9/4/2017-9/8/2017 (Finger Lakes, New York, USA) : Tasted at the winery. Blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cab Sauv in the '16 iteration. Not sure of fruit origin. Herbal aromas and fresh red fruits on the nose. Plummier but still herbaceous on the palate. Medium(+), grippy tannins and medium acid. Hold another year before drinking, and definitely some cellar potential here (5 years+?). "Very good-to-excellent," 90+/100.
