Two years passed since I tasted it... what a difference... now... simply a wonderful wine 🥺 Dark bright partially clear ruby red color👏 Mediumto full body. Low plus acidity. Soft but still felt tanines. Smooth but with a structure 👏 Wonderfully aromatic. Simply amazing. Almost addicting. Fruits. Ageing. Terroir. Spices. Barrels. 👏 Same on the palate, oak, coffee, dark chocolate, plum, blackberries, strawberries, cherry, mushrooms, leather, almond, hazelnut, licorice, anise, earthy 👏 Simply amazing 🍷👏🍷

In a really good drinking window right now. there’s still a load of dark and red fruits, tannins are softening, and some tertiarty flavors just beginning to show up. really nice with chicken parm, of all things.

For some reason this bottle was spectacular compared to the other ten or so I’ve had over the past few years. I popped in poured this no decant no air an it was the best showing ever. Maybe the wine is in a great spot. Guna have to find out by opening another

Popped n poured immediately Fruit flavors prevailed this time. Alcohol , raspberries, red cherries on the nose Beautiful flavor on the palate I wrote longer notes but I forgot to save it. Hence these quick straight to the point notes

Magenta colored lip. Sweet fruits on the nose. Tart red fruits on the palate with drying tannins. Lil bit of spice an earthy flavors 40 sec finish. Good wine. First 30 min to an hour. Heavy on the pepper flavors. Nose smelled fruity but didn’t translate to the palate. 3 hours later the nose wasn’t as powerful but the wine started coming together. Def tasted better hours later. After Trying the next day I need to open this an enjoy the next day versus immediately consuming.

Better on night #2. Heavy on the alcohol but that is what comes with amarone. Good balance of acidity , tannins are soft but lingering The fruit isn’t overly aggressive. Color is slightly showing some signs of age. If u have several. I would suggest opening one now and checking in on the evolution. If u don’t have many give it a few more years before checking in again. I think it’s in a good spot currently.

I found this really hard work, lovely tobacco nose with plum, but the palate was jammy and oxidative.

Wonderful wine... but... I expected more 🥺 Dark bright partially clear ruby red color👏 Medium body. Low plus acidity. Soft but still felt tanines. Smooth but with a structure 👏 Mildly to vaguely aromatic. You expected much much more. Fruits. Ageing. Terroir. Spices. Barrels. But really really vaguely 👎 Same on the palate, all right ingredients but in a very mild anemic way 👎 Nice Amarone wine. Not sure regarding VFM.

Medium ruby. Medium on the nose. Violet, red cherry, cedar, black cherry, dried cherry, cloves, spices, savoury. Developing. Dry, medium acid, high tannin, high alcohol, full bodied, medium plus finish. Medium plus intensity. Dried plummy fruit. Cedar, medicinal, earthy. Balanced, good intensity, complexity and length. Overall a very good wine. Drink now and potential to further age.

a slightly lighter rendition of amarone, both in colour and weight. nose is delicate, slightly sweet, with scents of strawberry, prune, pepper and a waft of alcohol. palate is bright, showing tart cherry, some raisin and spice with a slightly bitter note on the finish. uncomplicated and enjoyable overall.

Dull medium color. Certainly not an attractive color. Black Cherry fruit and a hint of spice and herb. Some meatiness. A touch of floral. It’s almost purple in it’s profile. Sweet fruit. Good weight. Polish tannins although it finishes bitter. Clean but a little more advanced than anticipated.
