I didn’t really think much of this a few years ago, fairly bland and unappealing. Having kept two bottles beyond the recommended drink by date was going to use for cooking, however on opening the aroma of slightly toasted oak and cedar, with hints of stewed fruit indicated the extended bottle aging may have paid off.
