still drinking well, approachable, enjoyable, integrated, solid fruit at the core, light finish. the 2014 date on here seems conservative. bought this one so long ago that i can't remember what it was like originally for comparison =(.

Slight aroma and palatable presence of VA. Sweet overripe red and blue fruit, graphite, vanilla extract, and balsamic vinegar reduction.

Shockingly good with a top notch fennel sausage pizza, not as earthy as most Italians, but very good overall

Impressive American version "Supertuscan". The earthy flavor of the sangiovese is great. The tannic backbone is there and full. Earthy, not too fruity. I am impressed.

A good wine that needs a bit more time.

2007 Amore is cherry red on the edges getting darker in the middle. It is vibrant with notes of Blueberries, Strawberries with a hint of blackberry and does have alcohol in the nose when first opened! Solid palate feel, with a medium to light body! Overall I think this wine is good though it throws me for a loop since it is built with mostly Sangiovese yet doesn't express the key notes that Sangiovese is known for! Terroir does matter!!! …

This one surpassed my expectations - guessing the additional bottle aging was a good thing. Lots of berry and some dark fruit, plush tannins, and a velvety texture and pleasing mouthfeel. Balanced acidy will let this one work well with food, although it certainly does not need food to be enjoyable. The oak is high quality and very well integrated and in good proportions. Very interesting (and successful) for a New World take on a Super Tuscan blend. It fit …

Nose of blueberry, plum, licorice, spice, and eucalyptus. Bold black fruit on the palate with a very spice spicy finish. Tannins are still firm. Could probably hold for a while, and I would have used a decanter if it was available.

Very nice blend. Probably should have allowed it to decant, seemed a bit tight; but very nice.

Its been a little less than year since the last time I rated this. Flavors and nose consistent, on the positive my sense was the fruit on the front gained a bit of intensity, the texture in the midpalate softened and to a degree has become much more elegant in nature. Low 90s still and I think is peaking soon maybe another year to go. -S

Intense, rich extracted mountain fruit. I love this style of "typical" Napa Cult Cab. Others may not...Parker would love it

A solid sangiovese blend, nose dominated with red fruits, light spice and vanilla, good body, medium bodied, fruit forward with a chewy nature throughout, red fruit laced with vanilla and cocoa, finish has good legs, a bit tight but i think it will age well with time. Low 90s. -S

Terra Valentine Visit and Tasting : Tasting at winery. 85% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet...a Napa super Tuscan! Good strawberry and rec cherry start with some floral hints and cedar. More simple on palate with modest perceived acidity.
