Domaine Chandon (Australia) Late Disgorged Brut

Pale orange colour. An initial burst of big, frothy bubbles quickly gave way to a fine bead, which surprisingly lasted long after the bottle was opened. Nose shows brown apple, but also fresh star fruit and melon, over background notes of oak and sherry. The palate is moderately oxidised, but very pleasant: it shows flavours of amontillado, old oak, brown apple, and stale bread, but is enlivened by frothy effervescence. Still drinking really well, good colour good nose and length.

Bright pale yellow in colour. Good mousse and beeding. Medium length not a lot of yeast on the nose. Well balanced acidity. Nice wine.
