Josten & Klein Mayschosser Mönchberg Pinot Noir

DnP Finally, the last bottle of six is showing what I actually expected when I bought back in 2017. Really fine mature with fruit and spicy elements and the herbal twist. Drink now -onwards

Cork was 1/3 of normal length under the metal capsule! Never seen anything like that, but not soaked through! D1h. Consistent with bottle tasted 21-11-2021.

DnP. Medium light red, yellow rim, 4.5. Peculiar liqueur bouquet, herbal stuff behind. Same goes for the taste, low tannins, medium low acidity, low+ body, dry watery finish. Off bottle? Drink now?

PnP. Very dark red, red rim, 5.5. Dense bouquet of cherries, organic solvent, plums. Mellow palate, low tannin, medium acidity, soft plum like finish. Drink now-onwards. Untypical PN style, more like an Italian Ripasso!

Dn1h. Medium red, red rim, 4.5. Intense fruity nose with a good protion oaky stuff behind, a bit rustic right now. The same goes for the palate, acidity and some tannin is present so I'll wait a couple of years for the next.

Generation R at Hamburg: like the label is saying: a very french - -Burgundy- like stilistic, balanced, tight and in the moment tart appearance, but a enormous fruit, transparent, still very young and tight, but creamy swallowing, midweight body, mineralic touch, enormous aftertaste, stunning PN- bottle, *(***), 91- 93- ?
