This is firing on all cylinders. Balanced acidity Dark currant fruit and a deep voluptuous mouthfeel with a satisfying & lengthy finish echoing waves of earth, licorice root & mint. Takes me back to Alex Golitzens better efforts from Quilceda Creek in its first 2 decades. Purchased at a close out price when Buty decided to close its door and sold off its library. Will include my last remaining bottle in a future blind tasting with other premium Cabernets.

Yes this wine deserves a BIG score on PTQ. Very well integrated and would pair with any grilled protein. Likely another 3-5 more years remain at peak.

fruit still going strong, tannins nicely smoothed - an excellent reward for 10+ years in the cellar

The Washington fruit so essential is in the nose and the tannins (long gone) are now just hints of tartness to excite the tongue. Best of all, I want to remember the name. Unfortunately its my only …

Blind tasting. Thought it was an Italian Tuscan wine. Made in an old world style. Nice nose. Good dark fruits. More earthy and less sweet than typical Washington wines. Really liked it. Ready to drink now.

Initial Impressions upon opening: Medium mouthfeel with prominent blueberry and blackberry flavors with long-lasting flavors along the edges of the tongue.

Good nose, great red fruits in this medium body cab. No noticable oak. Well done & will try to buy some more.
