Pizzini Lambrusco Salamino

Pizzini tasting : Super berried with cherry in support, a little what feels like carbonic maceration lends an almost banana note, touch of rose petal. In the mouth it's instant fruit splash, crisp mousse enriches the texture, fruit drops a little quickly. Nice though.

On tour with Tim and Phil day two (Beechworth and King Valley) : Cherry, raspberry in support, a little mineral underpin. Medium plus intensity acidity, textured grip is a little coarse and rasps the tongue, fruit is a little short otherwise this is probably the best Australian Lambrusco I've had.
