V much like it’s Chardonnay sibling, nothing wrong with it but for the price, nothing to report that is particularly note worthy. Felt like a cross between a a cote de units village and an acidic NZ P Pinot. Definitely feel I got “broked” into these!

Dark cherry and ripe strawberry. Smooth Pinot with soft tannins. Mid+ finish.

I have a fond memory of this wine as my 'burn and learn' wine. The wine merchant praised this wine and fooled me to buy two cases. I got it. Take an advise - avoid cheap Pinot Noir. What turned me off the most was the sharp yeast flavor that outshone the (diluted) fruit.

20 months since my last (unmarked) note and much improved. The minerality has come to the fore and the earlier noted dense extracted fruit element is much more defined and typically PN cherry (with PN bitter finish). Much purer and satisfactory than before - but the price?? For drinking up to 10yrs from vintage.

Probably flawed . Some manure smell. Did get better after few hours but not 100% I fear

Not sure what to make of this. Dense, ripe, slightly extracted dark fruit, integrated tannins and granitic minerality. All very drinkable if unsubtle - and at a price! However needs to develop further complexity to justify the cost and I need to be convinced that it has the potential to do so. Will give it the benefit of the doubt and hold till 2021. ?89+?+ potential

Nose of sweaty feet. Palate shows some promise but is not all together very hospitable let alone seductive like a good pinot can be. A bit (hmm very) acrid on the side palate. Almost yuk. Served blind I might throw it. I own a case... due to the high scores ... unfortunately. Won't be drinking it in any hurry. Or maybe at all.

Fresh fruity, spicy nose. Hints of calcareous soil or minerality. Light on tannin and more fruit driven but with a fresh balancing acidity. Well structured and balanced wine with nothing that pokes out in any direction. Drinks well now but it would be really interesting where this top notch Chilean will go with time in the bottle. 92-93p

A quick taste at Hedonist wines. Young fruity, spicy aromas but with the more restrained style. Lean, almost Burgundian, earthy mid palate. Very good balance and a structure to make it last. A very interesting wine which should evolve well. Maybe too expensive though. 92-93.
