Famous Grouse, Blended Scotch

From a minibottle. Dried fruit and a hint of smoke on the nose. Full bodied, robust, showing dried fruit and toffee with a small hint of peat/smoke and a long hot finish. Felt pretty decent.

Aroma: mel, álcool se destaca. Intensidade e persistência baixa. Paladar: muito álcool, metálico. Intensidade e persistência média. Sem complexidade. Desce rasgando.

“Spirits of the World” (non-blind), Spirit 5: This whisky was pale amber in colour and offered cereal, citrus and vanilla as well as hints of peat and smoke on the nose. On the palate the whisky showed citrus, liquorice and a hint of peat, with moderate heat from the alcohol and average to good length. This medium-bodied whisky had average complexity; the alcohol was disharmonious and cut-off the finish, so that the whisky seemed shorter than in would normally be.
