Nice GSM. Fruit and spice works well together.

A lovely GSM from Santa Barbara California. Delicately balanced but powerfully flavored. Agree with the flavor profile below. Not a 94 pointer as stated below, to my taste, as Australian GSM from top wine makers crush this in profile depth, balance, and finish. French GSM blends do they same. Nonetheless, I admire what Santa Barbara has been able to do with its viticulture.

Amazing Rhone blend of 50% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 30% Mouvedre, and 5% Graciano that already had great structure for such a young wine. One of my WOTY candidates. Beautiful and bright garnet color in the glass Aromas of blackberries, black cherry, pomegranate, baking spice, licorice, earth, with a violet floral aura that seems to float around all the other aromas; Tastes of black cherry, cranberry, and pepper on the palate; Medium(+) body, Medium(+) acidity, medium chalky tannins; long, tart finish.
