Tasted at Bodegas Bohorquez on September 6, 2016. The wine is a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the 21 hectares under vine (18/2/1 respectively). The vines are located right on the edge of the Duero. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and left to macerate post-fermentation. The fermentation and maceration period lasts for a total of 30 days. Fruit aromas subdued at first but after 10 minutes or so some blackberry and plum appeared. Toast, vanilla, …
