Tamdhu 18 Year Old Limited Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 46.8%

Peppery nose, vanilla and toffee, Lovely fruitiness here, peachy, sweet, vanilla and dried fruit. Smooth and honeyed. Lovely single malt. I might even prefer this to the more expensive older Tamdhus.

Deep brown colour, Brown sugar, toffee, custard tart and molasses on the nose. Smell so sweet. Balanced by a little mint. Peppery initially, then thick and rich with toffee, chocolate, orange peel. Touch of bitterness here. Complex and very rich.

Delicate, floral, heathery nose. Dry, warming and assertive. Hint of peat on the finish.
