Typical Mark Ryazan wine - big and bold, tannic, deep dark fruit. Could use more aging but a very nice wine.

A solid showing and one of my favorites from Mark Ryan. Opened and it needed about an hour in the decanter. Ripe red fruit with hints of black currant, vanilla and oak imparted spices. The palate was quite resolved and balanced with juicy red & black fruits, some pencil shavings and light oak flavors, very nice and very food friendly.

Beautiful balance between joy and discipline. Walks the tightrope with elegance and self-control. From the left bank of the Yakima river :) For more please watch below at Youtube channel Pandewine https://youtu.be/s2IIFQpSU5A

Deep, dark garnet in color, slightly opaque in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruits aromas of cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & spice notes, herbs, cocoa, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, herbs, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting …

P: LM, poss Med, body; RNDISH entry with very NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which stays …

Decanted for 45 minutes and enjoyed over a nice steak dinner. Wow this is a big and powerful wine. Full bodied, with lots of dark ripe fruit and almost smokey oak notes. Lovely, elegant tannins that grip the tongue. Very high alcohol (15.2%) gives it some heat on the finish. Paired very well with our meal: rib eye, burger, potatoes, mac n cheese. Experienced a little palate fatigue towards the end of dinner (post food), wished I had poured back …
