Azienda Agricola Spagnoli Andrea Liguria di Levante Pan Vino Bianco

Fascinating wine. Vermentino with a bit of skin contact, but not orange. Lovely aromatics: waternelon cotton candy and white balsamic. Almost a kabi riesling vibe, but blended with sylvaner maybe? On the palate: lively acidity, a slight white balsamic note up front, which is surprising and could be unpleasant, but good density. Very fascinating wine, but more interesting than enjoyable.
