Bottle# 2 since last autumn.... On nose and palate: high minerality, hazlenuts, lemon peel and a ghost of yellow apple and faint oak gall, all displayed on a sleek medium body, with lively , youthful acidity, at 7 years of age.....served well with roast chicken dinner, this evening.

On nose: faint oak gall, blanched almonds and minerals. On palate: all above notes present, with subtle notes of lemon pith, a ghost of hazlenut ...all assembled on a lean medium body with still vibrant acidity at 6 years of age. Sleek and well balanced, but somewhat lacking in fruit. Good oyster wine....for a Burgundy, uncharacteristic....but a very pleasant wine nonetheless.
