Ottin, Pinot Noir, Valle d'Aosta

Nice, it has lost the high level of acidity of a few years ago. Not complex but pure pinot noir.

lots of orange rim. pleasant nose with toasted hazelnut, raw red meat, stone, dried grass, rock salt, and goji berry. nice, light, balanced palate. raspberry, ripe sweet tomato, roasted butternut squash, flint, and plenty of umami on the palate with a smooth, long finish. took on port like cooked fruits and caramel after two days in the fridge. nice.

tasted during a free tasting at De Ponti in Milan. Light red at the eye and fresh fruit at the nose and palate. Grapes grown at 400m near Aosta. No oak, just steel barrell. Pleasant
