PnP. Nose of charcoal, smoky black fruit / oak and, oddly enough, strawberry. Tannins still present but starting to integrate into the fruit. Taste of chocolatey, smoky blackberries, cassis and licorice. The fruity character of the wine is moderated by the tannins. Long aftertaste. Could use 2-3 more years of aging, for my taste. Good structure and bones, however.
