More chard than pinot, yet it’s a strawberry character which is most obvious to me. Mild yeast flavours too. Light/medium body, with medium-sized creamy bubbles. Soft, integrated palate. Medium length finish. Nice wine but lacks depth & persistence at this price.

This is really a very good Aussie sparkler. Aperitif style. Detectable dosage and strong creaminess makes it very easy to drink. Good weight of fruit (lemon hint) but light on its feet. Bready complexity with bakery notes and a medium finish where the acid is cut cleanly, is there but not razor sharp or teeth stripping- just really nicely integrated.
