Tenuta Il Corno Chianti Colli Fiorentini San Camillo

Good, solid Chianti. Dark with dark fruit aromas, earthy, plum. Medium body, solid acidity, tannins on the low side but balanced anyway. Good food companion, not overpowering. Crisp mouthfeel with medium fruit finish.

Not as great as I would have hoped for a Chianti. However, for 15 bucks it is not that disappointing. On first sip - reveals watery sour cherry, lime stone and a touch of pepper. There is not a lot going on here. Overall ok, better with food, not a wine for sipping with friends.
