In a great place at the moment. Excellent balance with good mineral tones and a touch of ginger.

Megeve - sharing a magnum with our friends Charlie and Karolina, and pairing it with a poulet fermier. Light lemon Color. Opulent nose with lots of citrus, pineapple, mandarin, orange, and a typical kerosene touch. Med acidity, Med body, Med alcohol, Med flavor intensity and Med finish. Ample mouth, nice cream, beautiful pineapple and orange, citrus, vanilla, hay, and nice lingering salinity. Beautiful and great pairing with chicken.

This wine has an admirable balanced tension between residual sugar and electric acidity. The sweetness is integrated into crystalline acidity. Tropical fruit points at the warm vintage. Long finish with minerality galore. Sadly, my last bottle

Being from a hot year, this wine fires on all engines. Rich body, almost creamy and full-bodied at mid-palate. Acidity is present, but in the background. Lush fruit dominates. Compared to usual wines from the Moselle, this wine is opulent and baroque. An expressive and sensuous wine.

(Blind tasting) Medium-fullish, very pure nose. Apple, honey and wet stone minerality in lovely harmony. Subtle and elegant. Medium body. Lovely lush sweetness. Impeccable balance with the fresh acidity. Succulent and lovely. Enough sweetness to actually match a dessert! Fantastic.

No formal notes, but maturing nicely, still plenty of gas in the tank. Lemon, ginger, apple, wet rocks, bright acid- lovely with Thai food.

Has developed nicely and are yielding some lovely flavors of pineapple and lemon with a solid acidity. Has a fine note of petroleum that dissipates over time but it is not disturbing in any way. Lovely minerality and acidity.

I bought a bunch of Marcus Molitor wines and this is the first I have tried. It has some Urziger Wurzgarten spice, best not too cold. I am finishing the lasrt of the bottle 3 hours after opening - it has developed nicely. I see 3 - 5 years of improvement ahead

Deep golden in the glass. Explosive aromas of honey, dried apricot, ripe yellow fig, orange peel, lemon juice, jasmine, honeysuckle. Bright acidity, the sweetness not becoming cloying at any moment. Long, apricoty finish. This is a wine I'd pour into my Cheerios.

International Riesling Day! Actually a bit more golden tint to the color than expected from a 2018 but still mostly straw. Scored 100 from WA. Not al all at that level right now. For sure Sauternes and Beerenauslese are not the same, but never the less Yquem 2001, which also scored 100, is from another world compared to Markus Molitor. A good wine but it is difficult for me to see this wine developing to 100 points

Lovely citrus with a bitter core. The wine is very dry and could really use some age to mellow out a bit. Seems very singular at the moment but overall a solid performance.
