very chalky nose with some stone and minimal fruit, a slight fruit on the palette turning to spice and burnt rubber with a hot finish, not the best not the worst

Black cherries, sour cherries, hint of dirt and touch of licorice, black pepper and finishes with a hint of spice. Touch of nutty oak on the back-end. Overall it's Ok maybe a B or B-, but a good price point wine.

Hot and alcoholic on opening. It improved with time but never mellowed out to allow the red fruits to dominate. OK for the price but not a good representation of Oregon pinot.

Initially this appeared to have begun some post-bottle refermentation. This went away with aeration, and, half an hour later, this was more along the lines of what one should expect from an Oregon PN. Even better after an hour, when it becamer smoother, although the finish is still somewhat hot. Great QPR.

Nose of pencil lead, smoke, and loads of dark berries. Garnet in color, very clear but dark. Yummy, chewy flavors of eucalyptus, plum, and blackberry with hint of black cherry and aftertaste of menthol. Not so much like "raspberry ice tea", really rice and full mouthfeel. Another great recommendation from SD wine co! Was most excellent with BBQ rubbed cedar planked salmon and french potato salad. Mmmmm.

Good stuff. Still searching for a good everyday Oregon Pinot. Stumbled on this at Wines Theives in Concord. Nice color, fruity smell. A little of the Oregon pinot funky/earthiness. A short finish with a slighty hot taste. Overall a good well balanced wine that for $15 is a keeper.

My other wine of the night - very good wine enjoyed earlier this evening with Kim and good friend neighborbill at the monthly wine tasting at the Hickory Wine Shoppe in Hickory NC. A great young Oregonian Willamette Valley pinot, fresh and big and fruity and at this price point an absolutely great QPR. Nose of red cherry, vanilla, allspice and white pepper with very nice lingering aftertaste, good mouth feel and primary flavors of cherry, pepper, mint with development …

This was not a rose but didn't want to go back and change it.
