Like many lighter gamays I always find the first mouthful too tart, but this settles down nicely and is a great match for many foods. This time chicken tacos with avocado salad, feta, and corn salsa.

Deep ruby; sweet cherries, raspberry jam, game; black cherry, earthy, silky, light-medium body, good acidity, good balance, ripe tannins, nice finish. Silky, sweet cherries with raspberry jam and the usual gamey/leather notes. Well made and excellent value.
