Delicious aromas of dried figs and liquorice. Some alcohol notes. Semi sweet in the mouth with a nice bitterness in the finish.

A bit atypical for a Beerenauslese, with less than 50 g/l sugar and 14 % alcohol. Albalonga is a crossing between Riesling and Sylvaner, but I feel this is closer to a Sylvaner. Fullbodied and concentrated, but lacks a bit elegance. Good with berry desserts.
