Rideau Vineyard Mourvèdre

Translucent dark cherry color, somewhere between red and purple. Aromas of cranberry cocktail, ripe strawberry, cherry, graphite, turned earth, sweet tobacco, touch of cedar. Big primary red fruit on the palate follows by crisp acidity and fine tannins that are moderate but long lived. Light to medium bodied. Bit of bitterness on the finish. Solid but will likely benefit from some more bottle age. Will pair well with food.
