Ruby red, heavy legged. Weak nose of ripe Bing cherries. Palate is fruity and sweet, more Bing cherries, blueberries, and a hint of cedar once it begins to open up. Nice, easy acidity, like good jam. Still very fruit forward for it's age. Nothing to write home about, just be careful not to chug it, it really is wine, not juice!

I don’t know what the problem with this wine is. We found it eminently drinkable with pork chops with a spicy rub. A little horsey on the nose and maybe a little sweet, but all the same very drinkable. We liked it and are looking forward to bottle number 2.

Oh God no. Don't let the "acceptable" nose fool you on this one. This wine is absolutely undrinkable. Bitter, flat, flabby and oxidized. I almost gagged.
