Opaque garnet in color, this wine reveals blackberry, anise and black cherry on the nose. The mouth feel is full bodied with copious spices and cola elements that frame the dark fruits. Plenty of dark fruit on the palate with cedar notes. Not super complex or long, but nice at this price point. Drinking well now.

Thinner than a cabernet. Slightly acidic but not unpleasant. Decant for an hour before drinking. Nicely paired with a porterhouse steak. I will buy this wine again.

Wonderful at $10 a bottle. Typical weighty, purple fruit Toro.

Deep merlot color, slow legs, whiff of heat and spice, muted black fruit, some spice, low tannins, low acid, with a short sharp fruit finish. Did not age well for day 2.

Had a taste at a tasting. My notes and score on the tasting sheet match the other review below: red fruit and cocoa on both the nose and palate. Light acid/tannins.

30mo Salón de Gourmets (IFEMA - Madrid) : Delicate on the nose with notes of corn and oat flakes . On the other hand, it appears decompensated in the mouth without harmony. Too much alcohol. Astringent even. Any guarantee behind big names. Suave en nariz con notas a maíz y a copos de avena. De otra parte, en boca aparece descompensada sin armonía. Con demasiado presencia del alcohol. Astringente incluso. Los grandes nombres no garantizan la alta calidad.
