Color is medium golden. Nose is very strange: there is an element which I cannot pin down, something salty, something like hay, I'm not sure. Apart from this strange aroma which is not very pleasing there is ripe apricot jammy fruit together with petrol minerality. Palate is much more conventional and really nice with apricot jam, mineral tones, scrub herbs and smoke. Really nice palate, long, balanced with perfect acidity to match sweetness. I was nonplussed by this wine. I wouldn't buy it again, though its sweetness was respectably strong. Regular good (80.5).

Amber. Honey, lemon, peach, macadamia nuts. Lovey sweet, strong dessert wine.
