Brasserie de L'Abbaye Notre-Dame d'Orval Orval Trappist Ale

Incredibly nuanced and complex despite the light to medium body. Funky, dry, some sour/wild ale aromatics and flavors. Huge and dense carbonation and enjoyed it more the second day when the carbonation subsided a bit. Wish for more body/flesh to make it really complete.

Medium to full bodied, rather smooth, good balance between hoppy bitterness and some lemony flavors. A little austere on the finish. Not too much heat pushing through. A good and solid ale.
