Primary fruit has settled down, secondary profile of earthy goodness starting to show through. This one is singing right now but still has a few years left in its window. Dark ruby red in color, med/light body. Plum, mushrooms, licorice. Lingering finish.

This particular Pinot comes from the Dundee hills Ava. Ruby garnet with slight oak and vanilla leading to pepper and green cardamom. Cherry and raspberry take over with silky texture and medium body. Fine balance and intricate layers define this marvelous Pinot from Willamette valley. The finish is long and satisfying. Highly recommend visiting De Ponte cellars and checking out their portfolio.

De Ponte’s Estate wine is a hidden gem. I’ll not elaborate further hoping it remains a hidden gem. A great expression of Oregon PN.

Dark ruby color, intense nose of red and black fruit, chewy body, good balance of acid, tannins and alcohol. This is an excellent wine from the 2016 Dundee Hills by wine maker Isabelle Dutarte!

More structure than the regular Dundee bottling. Nice tension here. Good fruit balanced by drying tannins. Nice spice. Violet on the long finish

Exotic, almost tropical smell..The bouquet is very smooth and well rounded.. On the palate there is "electricity" and tension. Very velvety finish. Medium long after taste. My question would be, how long such a well evolved wine would last in the cellar... The winemaker says: easily another 8 years...
