Nice wine that is definitly Appassimento in taste. Heavy flavors and smooth mouth feel Still has more life than I originally estimated

Clear, ruby colour, medium intensity. Nose is clean, red fruit, hint of chocolate. Low- medium acidity and tannins, balanced with medium finish. Red cherry with some chocolate, good wine very enjoyable

This was full bodied and smooth tannins for a 2019. The fruit was balanced with dark cherries, wild berries, and a hint of cacao. Worth a try over the holidays, good restaurant buy.

Racy, red fruit. Highly drinkable albeit lacking in structure. Good food wine and weeknight drinker.

PnD let air for 1hr. Tasted alongside the 2010 impressive but a little flabby in comparison. Still more age worthy than may be advertised. Medium

yum ...big fruit of dark berries and plum. Front is a bit monolithic but still quite good. the middle is fruity with a touch of oak and the finish is elegantly smooth and fruity with maybe some oaky tannin.

It has lots of fruit and it appears to have some passito in it. The fruit is dark berries and plums. The middle stays big bodied and the finish tastes of sweet fruit but is dry in nature. I was expecting a bit more out of the wine, but you get what you get.

Belle complexité, beau nez. Très bon avec un steak.

This is a solid wine. I discern a lot of oaky spice and herbs on the nose and a little bramble fruit. I like the wine's tomato-like acidity and weight on the palate. I would look to pair this with a dish with tomato sauce. Although the winemaker touts that this wine was made with Amarone-inspired methods, I do not see the resemblance. This wine reminds me more of Chianti than of Amarone. Tasted the next day: I realize that …

Décevant. Le vin a été mis en carafe une heure avant mais en vain. Bon nez, mais aucune souplesse en bouche. Mauvais rapport/qualié prix.

Full disappointment! Nose has defended the wine but only the nose, it is with strong dark fruit hints as well as plum jam. Th e palate is so weak!!! like someone would have added some water, very thin with very agresive tannins. Far more too expensive, worth 5 euros.

Simple et assez ample, fruits noir avec de la chauffe en finale. Correct.

Tart, and a bit one-dimensional, opening up with a bit more generosity after some oxygen exposure. Still, not nearly as rich as I was hoping for in a ripasso, and without many interesting secondary characteristics. Not nearly as good as the Allegrini ripasso. I would not buy again for $14.

(Decanter Fine Wine Encounter 2015) :: Rich nose but quite tight and bundled. A concentrated mouthfeel, soft tannins and persistent finish.
