0707/870. The most elegant today, immediately outclassing the other Leroys. Ethereal blue fruit, so long and so detailed, hawthorn, smoky, a very Morey wine with bold structure. 95-96

S&J. Delicious, but lacks precision of more recent vintages. (219/870)

Two bottles tonight. Floral, spice, flowers. Delicate and silky on the palate. Weightless.

Rodger Arai. Floral, lifted, so fresh. Gentle tannins and touch of medicinal. Wow palate, incredibly pure. (390/870)

Very cloudy, garnet color, needed some air and became sweeter in time.

Wow. Not you fathers pinot noir. Complex and flowery nose, but not sweet, Layers and layers of fruit. Terrific changes as it opened up in the glass. A much bigger wine than previous years, and bold even for a Musigny. Drunk along with a 93 and a 94. This is more like the 98. Seems like this was when Mme Leroy hit her stride on this oine.
