Disappointingly youthful at 10 yrs old...far worse things could be said. Citrus, sweet cream, salt, lengthy. Almost felt more like a concentrated 21 chablis than a 14 Jura Savagnin. Decanted for a few hours and drunk with a variety of Chinese seafood dishes. Only had the 1 bottle, but would love to try this in 5 or 10 more years.

This wine has continued to open up and is now drinking really well. Great aromatic intensity and complexity. Still great staying power with a half bottle drinking just as well the next day.

14 months after the prior: The two most recent notes below describe it very well. To that we will add, again: Pale staw in color. Saline, savory, somewhat light, pure. This should evolve very nicely � including in this bottle! (Like another note below, we brought it to a dinner party � it was the ninth of at least 10 wines � and now the hosts will see how it evolves over the next few days.)

Second bottle. Similar to previous bottle but left out ( accidentally) a glass overnight. The fact that not only did it stay fresh but actually opened up more speaks volume as to the staying power of this wine. This wine should have another 20-30 years in it; especially with the Diam closure. Intense, bright saline, mineral and citrus nose. Searing acidity in this wine. Very pale hue. Everything suggests a wine with staying power.

Very nice now but likely to improve considerably. First bottle out of a case. It really should have been decanted. Still incredibly primary, almost unevolved, walking that tight-rope of reduction. Very firm acidity but at the same time the texture is substantial and rounded. The aromas are primarily on the saline and mineral side backed up by a little citrus fruit. This wine could require considerable patience; 5-10 additional years?

Wow this was better than I thought and I hardly got to have any since I brought it to a dinner I was driving home from... very mineral, salty. Brisk lemon and green apple.

4.5+ years after the prior: Saline and mineral, with beautiful savory layered yellow fruit. Still quite fresh. It evolved very nicely with air, and gained over three nights. Highly enjoyable.

Alpine wines (Dino's Grotto - Washington, DC) : This wine evolved a ton with air. Deep yellow color. Heavy aromas, this is a dense wine, but it opens to show honey, nuts, nougat, saline, seaweed and a big heaping portion of lemon cr�me pie. Beautiful nose of smoky toast, tangy citrus and a distinct minerality. The nose is nice but the palate way over delivers. Tangy citrus, green herbs, saline, stones and depth all on a chewy grippy texture. Stunning wine

Inkarnasjonen av hva jeg snakker om n�r jeg snakker om mineralitet. I tillegg lett parfymert duft av blomster og gul stenfrukt med hint av flint og oksidativ note, uten at det blir sjenerende. Tight og lekker syre, fyldig munnf�lelse med flott struktur og konsentrert gul stenfrukt: epler, fersken, nektarin og urter. Lang mineralsk ettersmak. Herlig til rike fiskeretter, men jeg kan lett kose meg med denne alene i godstolen ogs�.

The epitome of minerality: Chalk, rock dust, gunpowder. Very high acidity. Not overly noticable oaking, slightly oily mouthfeel. Finish slightly reminiscent of parsnip/gingerbread. Apart from that, not much happening here right now. Very powerful, quite good, but not very memorable (apart from that extreme acidity). Is probably way too young to drink now, I'll wait a year or two before popping next bottle.

Pale straw/very lightly golden. Balanced, with bracing acidity. Linear and focused. Became more interesting as it warmed up a bit. This was very young; we will open the next in a couple years.
