100% Pinot Noir sourced from a plot in 1er Cru Les Bois Chevaux. All fruit destemmed. Fermented spontaneously. Aged for a year in oak barrels (50% new). 13% alcohol. Translucent raspberry-red color with a slightly rusty maroon hue and an almost colorless rim. The nose feels attractive with somewhat evolved aromas of sweet strawberries, some wilted flowers, a little bit of nutmeg, light juicy notes of dark fruits, a hint of earth, a floral touch of violets and a whiff …

89-90 Nice red fruit, very aromatic and expressive, nice concentration without anything excessive.

Pnp. Very dark hue for a pinot. Nose dense as a southern old mourvedre with pencil graphite and leather. Mouth super fresh, very juicy, with grippy texture. A young wine allready showing his energy and a trump card of noblesse, without make up. A lot of potential, and what in his style : density and energy. Single parcel east facing. 91-93

13.5% - Clear, med ruby with a blackish hue / clean, pronounced intensity - cherry pit, raspberry coulis, bramble, underbrush, spice box, floral lift / dry, med+ acidity, med fine grained tannin, med body, pronounced intensity, persistent length. Youthfull with the oak not fully integrated yet, broad shouldered with a nice sappy finish. Quite promising! 90(++).
