Violet and black raspberries nose with earthy spices and leather. Palate is rich and rounded. A touch on the voluptuous side. Spicy and fresh in the full-bodied mid-palate. Most of the fine aromatics are hidden behind the opaque structure. Transition to the finish is rather short. Aftertaste of spicy floral notes on a bed of very fine tannins. Needs at least 3 more years for the elements to harmonise and open up.
