** Didn't take a detailed TN. Drank pretty well, but didn't blow me away, unfortunately.

Dark garnet color . Lovely rose petal and red fruit on the nose . Medium bodied and pleasing fruit initially but seems to disappear mid palate. Finishes with grainy tannins. Rustic. Not my style .

Great producer, great vintage, obviously too young. But maybe before a closed phase. Lots of bright red fruit and baking spices. Traditional leaning, avoiding any candied flavors or cherry cola. Classy and delicious and well priced. Almost a 1er Cru level.

Quick decant. Bottled under very high quality natural cork. Wide open and ready for business out of the gate. Quite reserved nose at this point, a hint of lovely fruit and spice, but the palate is inviting and full. Good depth with perfectly ripe fruit and Vosne spice and an incredibly smooth finish. Not terribly complex, but a wonderful drink and the bottle lasted much shorter than anticipated. Very glad to have gone deep on this cuvée.

Wow - really enjoyed this bottle. Not sure if it was bottle variation or this wine just fully opened vs. my note from a few years back. Popped and poured - nose just beamed out the glass - the oak has receded and is perfectly integrated. No formal note but unfortunately this was my last bottle.

Drinking at its peak. Opened up beautifully with aromas of violets, plums, blackberries and wet earth. Medium bodied with good color, just a hint of brick on the edges. Feminine and delicate, but very well balanced with acid, tannins and fruit integrated into a harmonious wine with a nice long minerally tinged finish.

It's a solid wine - mature for sure and opened nicely with some air. I liked it much more when young but still fun to drink - drink up.

fruity, spicy. Fairly big--characteristically '03. Too much vanillin for my taste.
